The longsleeve baselayer shirt has rapidly become a favourite item in my outdoor wardrobe. I use it for running, outdoor, travel and work. The fit is tight enough for running yet elastic enough to pull up the sleeves on a warm spring day. On a cold day it can be used as a somewhat insulating base layer.
The shirt has been used for +6 months and the shape/seams are still pretty much as new.
Berghaus claims it to be odour resistant but the stench coming the shirt after a 15km run and subsequent incubation period in the laundry basket is indistinguishable from other baselayer stenches.

Recommended for the traveller/(trail)runner/hiker who needs a versatile shirt

PROs:
Versatile
Flexible and tight fit
Nice features (zipper/thumb loop holes/back pocket/UPF)
Price

CONs:
Odour resistance not really working

Excellent fabric and very comfortable - suits me for walking in hot and/ or humid weather - superb wicking. Very easy maintenance - quick drying and, as advertised, does seem to resist the body odour even after a full hot day's walking. Packs up really small. Sizing seems accurate or at least I got what I expected and it fitted well. Would have give 5 stars but the collar is rather minimal - a pity because I like to turn up the collar to protect the back of my neck against the sun..... but at least it has a collar, something of a rarity in this type of garment at the moment. I'm sure that it will be comfortable as a base layer when winter comes. Price was good and the service was extremely fast.

I started out medium but had to exchange that as it was generous. The exchange process was easy to follow - good to know.

I don't dislike the shirt but the cut means the fabric sticks out at the sides adjacent to the elbow which seems odd. I suspect it is my body shape more than anything else.
