5.0 out of 5 stars A must need book for the Modern Athlete., 18 Jan 1998
By A Customer
Michael J. Alter's Sport Stretch is one of the
best sources out there for the Modern Athlete.
I have used the book to assist in my Martial
Arts training and it has helped to greatly
improve my whole training program. Idea for
every athlete but best for anyone who need to
work on flexablity. Get this for the Martial
Artist, Gymist, or Dancer that you know.

4.0 out of 5 stars much improved flexibility, 19 Jan 2004
By Mr. P. Belfield - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This is an excellent book... the stretches are a little difficult to get used to at first... especially if you haven't done any stretching in a while... the book is well organised allowing you to conentrate on the strecthes that are most beneficial to the sport you are interested in... and a wide range of sports are covered.

All in all an excellent product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for Martial Arts, 12 Mar 2003
By Conor Mcshane "MrC" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book on stretching is a must for those who do martial arts. The 311 stretches cover just about everything, but its the theories behind stretching and flexibility that are most useful. The book gives you an insight into how to increase your flexibility, which is central to martial artists who want to kick with perfection. It also outlines the benefits of flexibility, which are increased power and speed. Dont get a martial arts book if you want to increase flexibility - this guy knows what he's talking about.
