Product Description

Review

...excellent diagrams and text which students can easily comprehend. Great activities. -- Mr S Quinton, Waltham Forest College 20021023 It [Sport and PE: a complete guide to Advanced level study] encourages a deeper understanding of sport and the related sciences through a clear and consistent approach, and is suitable for advanced study at a range of levels. A useful feature is the emphasis on language used in sports science. Good diagrams, regular practical sporting examples, review questions and summaries all help to reinforce a range of approaches to learning, and because it was recently revised for AS and A2 by teachers closely linked with AQA, the content is pitched at the right level. There is even a section on project work for AQA. -- Robert Walden, TES 20010713

Product Description

A good easy to use book, which was recommended to me by my sports studies teacher. After using it for homework and coursework it has helped the marks increase immensely, and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking it boost their knowledge of sports studies.

I was given this book to help me with my homework and as I started browsing through it I noticed that it had information on all 3 areas that I cover in A Level PE. I bought it because then I did not have to get it out of the library and because then I can refer to it whenever I want to, at home or at college. If you are doing A Level PE then i recomend this book to you beacause then you will fly through homework, coursework and your exams.

This was a useful book for both reference and revision. Having left school to attend University, I found this book quite useful on a Sports Management course.

A decent book for the collection with some interesting facts and figures.
