"The book is an overview of sports injuries. The main aim is to provide a working knowledge of sports injuries to students and newly qualified physiotherapists, and to act as a memory jogger for the more experienced clinician. ...the book is well illustrated and tabulated. There is a list of references at the end of each chapter for those who wish to investigate further. The book is easy to read and is very logical in its layout. I found the book easy to use and useful... It would be a useful text for students and newly qualified physiotherapists alike. It would be a useful addition for all medical libraries and a good buy for out patient departments." "Pete Evans MCSP," Physiotherapy, vol. 84, no 11, November 1998book provides a basic introductory text on sports injuries. It is ambitious in its remit, as it attempts to cover in less than 500 pages a wide range of topics both directly and indirectly related to sports medicine.... the subsections on management and rehabilitation following injury are useful and clearly presented."British Journal of Sports Medicine, 33:289, January 1999author has a user friendly writing style and the layout of the book is ideal for reference...I would recommend it to physiotherapists interested in or actively involved in treating sports people."Physiotherapy in Sport, February 1994book provides a good basic reference for undergraduates or postgraduates just becoming involved in sports medicine. It is clearly written and well organised with easy to find points of reference."Physiotherapy, April 1996
