Written in diary form, by two Siamese cats, "Spock and Dracs, The Wilderness Weeks" tells of a 3 week stay with Ann, when Simon, with whom they normally live was on holiday. Considered, by the two feline authors, to be a literary masterpiece, they are baffled at how it frequently reduces human readers to helpless laughter. How they settle in and mercilessly manipulate Ann will ring a bell with everyone who has ever owned a cat, Siamese or otherwise.
Selfless to the last, the Siamese authors are giving all their profits to the Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA). So are the translator/editor and illustrator, even though they're only human.

Dear Spock and DracsWe got your book for Christmas and enjoyed it very much. We read it in the glow from the Christmas tree. We always wanted a copy but our lady was typically slow in doing anything about it. Our lady has some of the same tricks as your lady Ann's.
