Terrific new release from a London band who have managed to carry their thrilling live presence over to an outstanding studio album. Listen for acoustic gems like "Over Too Soon" amidst the powerful sound and tight blues rock. Highly recommended.

This was recommended to me by a friend and after the first listen I was hoooked! It's not really blues, but it's sort of blues based rock. Evey song is really catchy and there are all kinds of styles on here - acoustic, funky rock, 60s r'n'b. The opening track Can't Find A Lover is superb, and Wired is really powerful. A really good CD, thoroughly recommended.

Saw these guys live recently - they rocked! Bought the album on spec and was very pleasantly surprised. Some really impressive and diverse playing and songwriting. They make a lot of the other bands on the UK blues circuit look very ordinary. Make sure you catch them if they're playing near you. Failing that, you could do a lot worse than buy the album!

My best buy of the year
I have to disagree with KAKA's review regarding this album. The Mustangs are original and I love the way they mix blues tones with classic rock to make their own distinct sound. Read more
