Product Description

Amazon.co.uk Review

Sam Fisher, the covert agent who makes Solid Snake look like Basildon Bond, is back in Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, the all-new sequel to the 2003 hit. Once again it's down to Fisher alone to rid the world of terrorists and various other enemies of Uncle Sam.

At first glance Pandora Tomorrow looks pretty much identical to its predecessor--which is to say it's one of the most graphically impressive video games ever made, with a particularly nice line in atmospheric lighting and insanely detailed environments. It's true that in straight gameplay terms things haven't changed very much, although there has been a concerted effort to make things less linear this time around--which was one of the main complaints levelled against the first game. Now though, there are multiple solutions to almost every situation you find yourself in, and this isn't limited merely to a simple choice between wading in guns blazing or sitting in a corner for 10 minutes being stealthly.

There are also a few new moves and gadgets to play with but probably the most important new feature for Pandora Tomorrow is the multi-player mode. This is no simplistic death-match mode but instead pits spies (using the single-player game's standard third-person viewpoint) against mercenaries (using a more traditional first-person view) where the completely different abilities and weapons of each team makes for some highly engaging and inventive action. This immediately stops Pandora Tomorrow from being yet another mission disc sequel and alone justifies the price of admission. --David Jenkins

Fun:
Splinter cell: Pandora tomorrow is a great, on pc.

It looks nice plays well and moves nicely. Now something went VERY wrong in the porting of this game to the GameCube...

cons-

The games frame rate is sickening! I took my disk back and got another just to find the same glitch! Its always falling so slow that its like its in slow-motion!

Graphics are horrible compared to even ps2. The grass is 2d the player models are PURPLE! (there ment to be black) and the worlds look dull

Online missing!

Pros+

It makes a good coaster

So if you are considering this DONT! the cube version is unplayable get it on p.c or xbox or even ps2 cause this version with its frame rate will make you sick!

splinter cell 7 Dec 2004
ok you all know about sam fisher.. so theres no point going on about him so ill get right to the point splinter cel pandora tomorrow has a nice feel to it and the graphics are silky smooth there is not much of a learning curve but if you havnt played before dont think that the levels are easy ! the are more available guns in this second installment and a well wrote story line but it is lacking something as its not really a game you come back to often and it gets tiresom everytime you try to do a level and cant in the end you just get bord and paly something else. i wouldnt say dont get it but you shouldnt put it at the top of your list of wants unless sneaking around for hours doing missions perfectly is your cup of tea!

The first splinter cell quite frankly rocked the hardest so this one will hopefully rock even harder. The thing that seperates splinter cell from most fps is the lack of shooting. you need to be so stealthy because if anyone sees you they set of an alarm and its game over. This can get anoying but it makes for a better game You should buy this game I will
