My son is just turning two and is only just outgrowing this Large size swim nappy - at 12kg he's on the leaner side of toddlers but he wears it over a disposable swim nappy and it fits fine. It is supposed to be tight around the waist and thighs so nothing escapes into the pool, that's where the peace of mind comes from. I do doubt that the Large goes up to 15kg, as SplashAbout claim, but it's certainly served us well for many months and he could probably still fit into it for another few weeks yet. So don't be too put off by the other review if you're thinking of buying, it's a great swim nappy.

Yes these are tight, but lady, you wouldn't want them baggy bearing in mind the job they are there to do! They last well too as we have passed them down to our second son and they are wearing very well.

We have been having swimming lessons with our son since he was 5 months old and i bought this swim nappy in large from my local swimming group, it was always tight and difficult to get on so after 4 weeks i bought it in extra large and even though he's only 7 months now the extra large is still tight on him because he has chunky thighs.
So i wouldn't recommend these nappies or any in similar style to any parents of babies with chunky thighs!!
