Plenty of information for the independant traveller.
Lots of history of the area.
Concise descriptions of the areas visited by Criuse Vessels.
Gives a good overview of the area.

Exscellent guide book giving all the detail the rest omit, taking each area in turn. Even suggests travel agents and gives stars to hotels and suggests travel to allow the traveller to book their own itinerary. None of the others that I have read come anywhere near this quality of information.
