4.0 out of 5 stars Bobby Oxspring I knew this Man 28 July 2010
By Frank
Bobby Oxspring as a Group Captain was commanding RAF North Luffenham 151 Bloodhound wing when I first met him I was his Driver, I then moved on to RAF Gatow Berlin and again was followed by Bobby who took Command of RAF Gatow and again I was tasked to drive him and some of his many visitors including Douglas Bader and "Johnnie" Johnson, sometimes late at night visiting Berlin's famous nightlife. I knew he was a Spitfire Pilot in the war but he never spoke about it and I never knew what a great man he was.
Reading his book was of special interest to me written by a dedicated and very modest Man for me a great read.
