I have the whole series of these books and love them all, but I have tosay that this one is my personal favourite.
Thicker than the others, the book shows the author's deep love of waterspirits as well as informs us of many aspects of them that are importantfor those who would work with them to know.
The chapter on holy wells alone shows the kind of extensive research thatgoes into these books, as well as challenging us with straightforwardinformation rather than the watered down (so to speak) fluffy versions ofnature spirits that so many commercial books offer.
The playful nature of water spirits as described in the chapter on how tosee them rings oh so true for those of us who have caught glimpses of -something - during a casual swim. I can't recommend this book highlyenough. I wish I could give it an extra 10 stars!
