It's been a real thrill to write for Dragonlance, as I pretty much grew up with it. Being able to carve out my own little niche in Krynn, and to be given a chance to work with one of the original Companions, was a true honor. The best part, though, is finding out how much people have liked Spirit. I'd always hoped my first book would be a success, and seeing people's comments, on Amazon and elsewhere, is wonderful for the old ego, I can tell ya. Thanks to everyone who's bought the book and enjoyed it. My second Dragonlance novel, Dezra's Quest, will be out in June. I hope you like it too. And to those of you who dream of writing someday, for DL or otherwise -- keep at it. I'm sure glad I did.

A great book in the true spirit of Dragonlance,

A great book with the real feel of the original Dragonlance trilogies. The characters are handled sensitively and the established characters act as if written by Weis & Hickman themselves. Tragic and brutal in places, but truly heroic and epic - this book can be recommended to those tired of second-rate Dragonlance stories, as it really feels fresh and original.

Not bad, but . . . .,

I read lots of DragonLance books. And so I read this one. I expected more. It flowed okay. It was written okay. I just wanted more action. And I wanted the action to seem more realistic. So, overall it was an okay read. But I was a bit disappointed. I'll read his next to see if it is better.
