Product Description

Product Description

An offer to go to a Spiritualist church on a Friday night opened up a world Leah Crosby could only have dreamed of and head-first into a family that should have been dead long ago.
The un-dead, her cousins, are funeral directors and Leah is fascinated and drawn into their world and the Spiritualist Movement where her own powers are opened up and developed, unknowingly to them all, to help with the horror that faced them. A horror they actually wished for.
This book contains descriptions of scenes of an explicite nature which are suitable for adults only. The contents are not suitable for readers under the age of eighteen years of age.

Travelling the world and hunting out antiques has given Andrew Harding a broad insight into the unravelling of the human mind. His fascination with the paranormal and also the supernatural world has inspired him to cross boundaries and write this trilogy. The people who have crossed his path have covered such a broad spectrum that he's realised that there are no barriers to the depraviy that could be hidden beneath the surface.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spirit, mind blowing 25 Mar 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book was one I just come by on Amazon, so I had a read of the first few pages. The writing technique gripped me and made me want to read more. The basis of the book is a subject I have heard of before but never followed, but after reading this book I feel more pull towards the Spiritualist aspect of our world through reading this book. There are so many aspects discussed and it makes for more intense and interesting reading.
Andrew is a fantastic writer. He brings the characters to life in your own imagination and keeps the reader gripped at all times. The characters are people who would normally be looked at in a negative way, along with the job they do. Andrew has flipped this so that the characters show compassion where not expected, and love when you wouldn't believe it possible. There are many plots twists with the characters to build suspense and I loved this.
The way the characters are written is amazing and made me feel a number of different emotions when reading this novel.
I am more than looking forward to the release of the sequel to see what the characters get up to next!

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this book! 27 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I have recently finished the first book, which I got for free before I even had a Kindle (got it to check in the Ipad app), and probably downloaded it because of the spiritualist theme (I'm a Spiritist myself, who's read all Kardec's main books and I'm always reading Brazilian Spiritist books).

When I already had a kindle I decided to give this book a try and, since I did not even remember the synopsis, I was totally surprised by what happens in the story and I was always eager to read more and more to find out what would happen to Leah and her friends.

Andrew Harding has an amazing writing style, and his characters are so full of life they feel like people I know. His first person narrator, Leah, has very witty remarks about everything and is very well portrayed.

I definitely recommend you give this book a try. You will not be able to stop reading it, and will want to finish this trilogy. It deals with many spiritualist themes, psychic powers and the supernatural in general, but it also portrays many great moral values (family x self, for instance).

I hope this humble review can help more people decide to read this book. It's kind of hard to review without spoiling anything, so that's the best I could do, :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Concepts thrown out the window 9 Oct 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Growing up with a set concept in my mind of what vampires are portrayed to be, in films, tv or the written word, I was astonished to read Andrew Harding's take and description. I had to relearn, throw all the old concepts out the window and accept the characters as Andrew Harding so successfully described them and brought them to 'live' on every page of this book. The vampires he deals with in this story are considerably more 'human' than most of the humans we deal with and a lot more dependable. This book presents a fresh look at the 'spiritualist genre' with a bit of occult thrown in, without ever being unbelievable. The characters are living entities with their very strong feelings, empathy and deserve your sympathy and attention. Go on, get the book, now! (and you won't be able to resist the other two in the trilogy, FORCE and PARITY. Enjoy!
