Product Description

Review
"'You don't meet men like Gordon Smith every day - he's the Psychic Barber who never needs to ask where you're going on holiday.' The Scotsman; 'Amazing' Time Out; 'Respected medium Gordon Smith.....astounds them.....' Whats On TV; 'Gordon Smith provides exact names, addresses, events and descriptions sharply relevant to a person's life and the lives of those they have known' Professor Archie E. Roy, Emeritus Professor of Astronomy, Glasgow University. 'The talent Gordon has been blessed with is something most of us can hardly believe, but to see and hear of the help he has given to others in easing their pain is surely his greatest gift.' Ally McCoist"

Product Description
As expected of a seventh son of a seventh son, Gordon Smith displayed his psychic abilities as a child, but did not start to develop as a medium until he had a dream of the death of a close friend that terrifyingly came true. Gordon started giving public displays of mediumship at a prodigiously young 25 years of age and has gone on to become one of the most gifted mediums in the world, bringing comfort to thousands of people with his messages from the spirit world. To keep both his feet on the ground he still works in his barbershop in the west end of his native Glasgow. Always happy to work with the scientists who have wanted to research psychic abilities, Gordon has achieved extraordinary results under laboratory conditions time and time again. One of the researchers, Emeritus Professor of Astronomy, Prof Archie. E. Roy, at Glasgow University has become deeply impressed by Gordon's abilities: 'Gordon Smith provides exact names, addresses, events and descriptions sharply relevant to a person's life and the lives of the people they have known'.

5.0 out of 5 stars A book to make you laugh and cry, 5 Sep 2005
By A. KUSYTSCH "Water Wizard" (Manchester, England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I was given this book as a present as it is not my typical read. Gordon Smith has an earthy sense of humour and his honesty shines through the pages - like the elderly dying female cancer patient who made a grab for the male doctor's privates just to cheer up her sad visitors.

Gordon Smith travels the world helping people in grief at the loss of loved ones and does it for free. There is something about him that rings true in this world of innumerable new-age pedlars of sprituality.

If you have lost someone in your family and are not sure if there is an "up there" - give Gordon a chance to reassure you.

5.0 out of 5 stars More than a messenger, 9 Jan 2006

An excellent book. Once I started reading, I just didn't want to put it down, wondering what fascinating, sad or humourous look into his world I'd be introduced to next.

Gives far more of an insight into the long path he's travelled than similar books from other authors.

Also it's quite refreshingly interesting how many of the stories of how he's helped people are told by the people themselves, rather than him, giving a much more personal touch.
