Chapters showing shops, hotels and street scenes from Old Colwyn to Rhos on Sea. Featuring both little published and entirely unpublished material with photographs of buildings recently demolished such as the Rhos Abbey Hotel and Penrhos College. A chapter entitled 'Beside the Seaside' looks at the promenade, piers and entertainment during the early part of the last century.

Wonderfully presented and full of pictures of the buildings and people long gone (and in some cases still here) which made Colwyn Bay the lovely town it once was. Highly recommended to the people who live in or who have history in Colwyn Bay or the local areas.It's a terrible shame that things just aren't the same anymore. Buy it.
