I was looking to replace a 500 gig desktop hard drive when i spotted this listed on amazon. For only £12 more got Double the storage on this 1TB hard drive. Having read expert reviews on this drive i was very impressed. Have used samsumg drives for about 3 yrs now and never had serious problems, this drive is both quiet and fast. Installation was very easy using acronis to clone my partition C drive. Thumbs up amazon, great product amazing price.

Best 1TB "Sata Spindle" - Hard Drive on The Market @ This PRICE POINT...
This "Samsung F3 Spinpoint" has been well recognized for well over a year to be both the "quietest and fastest 3.5inch Spindle Hard Drive, "by all PC Magazines" closely followed also by Seagate and WD.
People usually stick by a Hard drive (because of different issues, mine happens to be both "speed and noise" not "green", which the SAMSUNG F3 Address... with Twin double Platter's, "very efficient seek time 8.9ms, and "very fast bust speed", means very quick boot times, and shut down in Windows 7.
"At this time I cannot justify the price off SSD Drives.!"
I cannot persuade you to buy this, if you stand over another brand, however I promise if your liberal and open to trying new things, you will not be disappointed with this drive.

Good drive, quiet, good value. Pain to clone in Win 7 with Ghost 15. I recommend Easus free for trouble free cloning.

Good drive
After wanting not being able to find a WD Caviare Black I got this and it performs pretty much on an equal level but with a better price point.
