This book is an excellent, informative but laugh a minute book on how to make it in the music industry. Taking the reader from how to make a demo tape right through to making your first video and the good and bad days of touring, it provides everything the aspiring musician/singer needs to know. I would recommend this book to everyone whether they are musicians or simply music fans curious about what their favourite singers have to go through to become famous.

NiK Kershaw is not only a fantastic singer songwriter but also a fine wordsmith. This book is a really funny incite into the music world. Even if you're not a Kershaw fan I advise you to read it. Great fun.

This book was quite amusing thogh meant for a young age group. It would have been nice to read a serious insight in how Nik made it in the music business.A bit outdated now with the downloading era.I gave it my nephew whois 20 and in a band.I'll have to see what he thinks of it.
