4.0 out of 5 stars Spike : The Entire Series 23 Sep 2012

The pictures were good and the story interesting, not as good as the TV show though. Not an intellectual read, but good fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice compilation 20 Sep 2012
By Angela Schulte - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I've read all the post TV series Angel and Buffy graphic novels and the Spike ones by far are the best. It really keeps the character alive. I would only advise reading the After The Fall Angel & Spike books before moving onto this to minimize confusion, and if you can get your hands on it Spike: Omnibus. There are some re-ocurring characters from the Omnibus.

Chronologically if you're looking for post tv series stuff I'd roughly in this order. It doesn't matter so much the order of the Omnibus if you've watched both series, just that you read them.

Buffy: Omnibus 1-7
Angel: Omnibus 1&2
Spike: Omnibus
Spike: After the fall
Angel: After the fall (1-4)
Angel: Aftermath
Angel: Last Angel in Hell (totally unnecessary all together just as an fyi)
Angel: the End
Angel: Only Human (has to do with Illyria)
Angel: Illyria
Spike: The complete Series
Fray: Future Slayer (anytime at all before reading Buffy season 8)
Buffy: Season 8 (vol 1-8)
Then you can finally move onto the current Stuff, Buffy season 9 & Angel & Faith

5.0 out of 5 stars Do your homework before writing reviews 29 Aug 2012
By Robert Loy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I have never figured out how people who do not research a product think it's okay to give it a bad review because it wasn't what they were expecting. It's obvious from the description and from the available preview pages that this is a graphic novel, and to give it a two-star review because it wasn't a pure-text novel is neither fair nor helpful to potential readers. And as a lead-in to Buffy Season 8, it doesn't have to have anything to do with Buffy; instead it explains what happened to Spike between the end of Angel season 5 and the beginning of Buffy season 8. The truth is this is a riveting, well-drawn tale about one of the most interesting characters in the Buffyverse.

4.0 out of 5 stars Happy with it 14 Sep 2012
By Cass - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I was very pleased with the speed in which this product was delivered. Being a BTVS/Angel fan, I enjoyed the book. It filled in gaps I had missed while reading the other graphic novels I've purchased in the past. I recommend it to anyone and everyone who is a fan of the shows and have been following them past their television run!
