I bought this case mainly for protection, to prevent drops causing scratches/shattered screens and not necessarily based on its looks. However, having had the case on my phone for a while I'm now a big fan of this design.

The case has a quality feel and finish, with surfaces being just the right combination of firm and smooth to the touch whilst still giving some grip. I would say though that if you're not overly confident in your grip that perhaps a case with a more textured back would be more appropriate, as with one-handed use it can be difficult to get purchase on the back of the case. The hole for the 3.5mm jack is slightly off-centre and occasionally requires some jiggling about and the case does have an unsightly hole for korean version's antennae.

Most importantly for me though, after 3 drops (all from pocket/table height ~1m) including one that was almost perfectly face down the phone is still immaculate. There are a few minor scuffs on the case but I'm far happier having them on an £18 case than on my £300 phone!

Pros:
- Stylish design (despite initial concerns).
- Appears to be highly protective - prevented screen shattering on face flat drop.
- Quality construction and finish.

Cons:
- Back is not as grippy as I might like for one-handed use.
- Gap in top right corner for korean version's antenna is slightly odd-looking.
- Hole for 3.5mm headphone jack slightly off-centre

I dropped my phone down 4 flights of stairs without a scratch, so as far as I'm concerned, it does the job!

It does add a little bit of bulk but my is it worth it...

This is a stunning case that will turn heads. I have had no end of compliments on it, and not from just techy friends. The case has stood up extremely well too. I have had it for over 2 months now and I keep my phones in my same pocket as my keys and it is still unmarked; the white finish doesn't pick up fingers prints either.

One other bonus is that it is angular enough at the edges that you don't feel like it is likely to slip out of your hand at any moment when trying to type one handed etc.

I was a little apprehensive about buying a white case but I can safely say my concerns were unfounded.

Go ahead and get one - I highly recommended :)

Its designed as said specifically for my LG2. It fits snuggly and doesn't add much to overall size or weight and you can see it's a quality product so it makes you feel good that you got value for your money, you're soon happy with your purchase.

Protection feels good but how do you test? But it looks as if it would protect well enough for everyday sort of mishaps.

It makes the phone so much easier to hold, the rubber edging providing much needed grip, very useful when taking photos as the LG2 slips so easy out of your fingers. It also stops it slipping so easily out of your pocket. I have the blue which is very snazzy. Hint try using the free Google camera app as it provides a larger area to tap your finger to snap a photo. You still need a screen protector. I found the "Flex" protector a bit too thick so it doesn't react as easy to your taps at times as it should . But then it provides better protection. Trade off.

Having purchased the venerable LG G2 for the other half a while back (over a year ago), we needed to get a case to protect its svelte frame. The G2 is quite a slippery device on the back, and the button position can mean some hand gymnastics on occasion, so dropping is a distinct possibility.

As the user of this phone is known for clumsiness, protection was vital. We have had slim cases before on other phones, and they have fared ok, only to ultimately snap or become brittle over time as they have usually been of some kind of plastic construction.

I had heard of Spigen from some exhaustive research into device cases, and they had consistently cropped up as making well-build and solid accessories. Finding reliable reviews of phone accessories is a complete minefield as there are so many unreliable or even hoax reviews designed to big-up one particular device over another, but I figured that as my research extended beyond the internet I could trust my instincts.

We plumped for the Metal Slate colour which I think looks quite spiffy and adds a sort of industrial chic to the overall look of the phone. The handset sits snugly into the case and what I like about this case is that the corner bumpers allow it to sit slightly proud of the front screen, thus providing some added protection in the event the phone is on a face-plant trajectory.

This case does take the svelte look of the G2 into different territory as it bulks it up somewhat (and the G2 is not a small phone!), but it remains manageable. The back isn’t much less slippery than the standard G2 back, so it would have been nice to have had something a little grippier, but I’m not complaining too much.

I bought this case for my LG G2 back in March, after dropping my phone and completely breaking the screen rendering the phone entirely unusable. Since then, whilst I am A LOT more careful, I've still managed to drop it a couple of times but the phone doesn't even have a scratch. The case itself also stood up well does these drops, with the only scratches coming from when it has been crammed in my pocket along with my car keys! So in terms of function, it does exactly what it is designed to do.
In terms of design, I think the case itself is stunning. The slate blue finish and straight edges give it a classy appearance, although it is slightly on the bulky side meaning I've had just as many complementary comments as I have people asking me what that "brick" lying on my desk is!
For anyone who is serious about protecting their LG G2, I wouldn't bother looking any further than the SlimArmor. I also really like the design, but I did knock off one star for its bulkiness - although I suppose that's the price you pay for real protection.
