Lauren Bishop (Kari Wuhrer)a successful but frustrated business executive with a chip on her shoulder is being pursued by Clay Harding (Stephen Baldwin) the son of a wealthy client and soon becomes involved in an elaborate scheme to defraud his father of forty million dollars.
The fundamental plot is fine, but nothing seems to flow naturally in the very contrived plot, there is absolutely no chemistry between Wuhrer and Baldwin in the gratuitous boring sex scenes, I could find no real motive why the characters behave the way they do, even worse no real tension or excitement is generated.
The type of plot I enjoy, but regrettably this is one for fans of the stars only.

I'm afraid there isn't much to be said about this film, except to say that it lacks many things for me. There are a few decent scenes I suppose and the ending is okay, but the fact that it is disappointing is nothing to do with the fact that it stars Steven Baldwin, who many unfairly dismiss as the lesser of the Baldwin brothers. That is total crap. They all had success and Steven was of course in The Usual Suspects, but there is simply no chemistry between him and Kari Wuhrer and the narrative drive wasn't that strong. To be fair, I skipped quite a bit in places, and Kari is pretty decent throughout and her sex appeal is undeniable, but not one of the great thrillers I've ever seen. It's not in my for sale box.

If it wasn't for Kari Wuhrer's attractive naked body that appears throughout the movie this movie wouldn't "work" like it did.
Kari plays Lauren, who is an analyst at an investment banking company. Baldwin plays Clay and he is the son of a very rich owner of a client firm. Together they make a plan to get all the rich man's money without killing him.

Are you kidding me?This is one of my favorite movies,you have Stephen baldwin, Kari wuhrer,plenty of action,in a money heist mayhem,What more can ask for in movie.Id Rate this movie a 10 star if I could.Great Movie,buy it today you wont regret it,trust me.

This is truly a "B" quality movie and like many "B" movies they are Rent-ers NOT Buyers. There was oddly some good acting by Stephen Baldwin, but that is only to Stephen Baldwin standards. For the Kari Wuhrer fans there are a couple of goods scenes where she is "Performing at Her Best". OK movie to see but, stick to the video store with this bad boy
