Any fan of Spiderman will be drooling when they get their hands on this book. Everything you could ever want to know about our friendly neighbourhood super hero is contained in this book. It is packed with pages and pages of web slinging facts about spidey and all his friends & enemies including Venom, Carnage and Dr. Octopus. It also includes excellent pictures of the web slinger drawn by artists such as: Todd McFarlane (old comic series) and Mark Bagley (the new Ultimate Spiderman series). One negative point is that there is no mention of the forthcoming Spiderman film set for release in May 2002. However this is a minor criticism because this book really is a must-have for all Spiderman fans.

Spider-man: the Ultimate Guide is a book written by famous writer Tom DeFalco, and was published two years ago, in 2001. This hardcover edition, 168 pages long, contains among others, a foreword by Stan Lee. In this book, you will discover over 600 full-colour images, from the 1960's, when Spider-man was first published in a comic-book, to the latest designs which lead the hero to become a symbol for every little kid in the world! The author presents successfully the most interesting chapters of the comic books published in the 60's, the 70's the 80's and the 90's, and all in all gives a brief overview of "your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man" story! This book is essential if you are a Spider-man fan, or even if you know just a few things about the "human spider" it will help discover a whole new world. Buy it!

This book is for any spiderman fan who is enthusiastic about the facts and histories of the web slinger. The book is packed with facts and pictures of every tool , villians and allies of spider man and there are pages and pages of them. However the book only briefly tells of the upcoming film and if you are not a fan you may find the book a bit boring after a while
