This trade collects Amazing Spider-Man issues # 626-629 and #229-230.
As a cohesive story, The Gauntlet has been disappointing. Spider-Man is running afoul of a wide variety of his rogues and other dangers, but it hasn't been a concerted or connected effort (as implied by the title). The common plot thread is becoming more apparent, but it still isn't particularly compelling.
But the individual encounters have been interesting, and have had more good than bad. These issues come in behind the Mysterio story as my favorites, roughly tied with the Electro stuff. We have a nice side plot featuring the new Scorpion and Peter's roommate and then the titular guest star takes center stage in a three-issue tale. It wasn't what I expected, but I enjoyed it quite a bit and there were a lot of nice touches throughout.
To round out the trade we get Spider-Man's first encounter with the Juggernaut. I actually recommend reading this first as elements tie to the new story. It's decent - how much you like it will depend on your taste for comics in general from the time period.
Overall another decent stand alone trade tied to a "major event" which hasn't lived up to it's potential thus far.
