Great value for money - bought this DVD for my two-and-a-half year old son who's a big spiderman fan. I'd say that the content of this DVD is ideal for children of pre-school age: 'violence' is negligible (a previous review stating that this DVD contains a shocking level of violence is preposterous - that particular reviewer makes the late Mary Whitehouse look like a bleeding hearted liberal), banter is aplenty and good always triumphs over evil!
It's a great introduction the the Marvel universe: many of the 'old favourites' pop up including Captain America, Magneto, Mysterio and the Incredible Hulk.
Picture quality may be marginally less than perfect but for me, it takes me back to a time when children's animation wasn't the banal, souless and politically correct commodity that it seems to be increasingly becoming thanks to Pixar et al.
Anyway enough ranting - highly recommended!

Bought this for my 3 year old son - and myself if I'm honest!! Neither of us were disappointed!! The Spiderman movies are bit too old for him right now but he loves the Spiderman merchandise so this was a good compromise! HIs 6 year old sister loves Fire Star and they are constantly playing rescue games being one or more of the characters!! Best DVD buy for Christmas!

Spiderman
My Four year old grand son loves this stuff - I got him the 1967 original cartoons which he thought were brilliant, this is a good step on from this series and he adores them all.

We love it
Have read lots of reviews about how old this is suitable for but my 3 year old loves it. There's no scary scenes just good plain fun. We watch it over and over and over!
