I seriously hope Tamani in book 4 keeps up his love interest with our female character. The human boy is less interesting. The action comming into the plot line is fantastic. I was compelled to read this book in the span of a day- as you can imagine I stayed up all night to finish it off. Talk about Troll attacks- sorry plot slip.
Overall, a must buy and book 3 is even better- i'd know i've read it too :)

Spells is the second of what I assume will be a trilogy by this talented authoress.
The story takes up again with Laurel and David now firmly a couple but Laurel has to take time away from the human world to visit Avalon where she must learn all she can about Fall Faeries, how to make potions and above all to protect herself, her family and of course Avalon itself.
Whilst in Avalon, Laurel and Tamani become close again and Laurel is torn between her love for David and Tam.............this kind of turns out to be a classic menage a trois.
When she returns to the human world she wants to be with David but part of her also wants to return to Avalon..........what should she do? Before deciding, events take a terrible turn when her friend Chelsea is kidnapped by Trolls and although she and David have reached an impasse in their relationship, he immediately agrees to help her try and rescue her best friend.
I don't wish to say more about the above as it would be a spoiler so I'll just go on to my next point. Laurel discovers that in Avalon there is an awful class system which she naturally hates so she bucks the trend much to Tamani's discomfort. This makes me wonder if Laurel is just an ordinary Fall Faerie or is she going to be something more! Mmmmmmm, food for thought.
Towards the end of this book Laurel has to make a very hard decision and one that will inevitably break a heart......will she make the right decision? You'll have to read this really good book to find out.

Just as magical as Wings!
