Product Description

Product Description

Seven talented Wiccans have joined together to produce this invaluable guide to the art of spellcrafting. Much more than a do-it-yourself magic manual, this guide to the craft emphasises the responsibilities and ethical issues that are part of the magical life. The wisdom collected here is meant to inspire and empower beginners and less experienced magic users, so they may go on to safely and confidently customise their own magical practice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spellcaster, Seven Ways to Effective Magic, 2 May 2005
By
Lisa Pearch (Chesterfield, Derbyshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Spellcaster: Seven Ways to Effective Magic (Paperback)
I bought this book full of hope thinking that I would learn something new about the craft and I haven't been dissapointed. The authors have done their research well and I've really enjoyed reading it from cover to cover. There is so much within the book and you can also try some of the ideas within it for yourself and they do work, I've had a go already. You won't regret buying it as I don't and hope they write another very soon.

2.0 out of 5 stars Irritating........, 24 July 2006
This review is from: Spellcaster: Seven Ways to Effective Magic (Paperback)
I brought this book hoping it would be full of advice to help along an intermediary spellcaster, but unfortunately I found it very irritating in places. It is quite contradictory, and very prescriptive about the advice given. If your new to the craft, it might work as a basic introduction, if it doesn't confuse the hell out of you first. As with all these things take everything with a pinch of salt.... just because who ever is giving the advice is the high priestess, initiate of ten orders, it doesn't mean that their advice is valid, useful or coherent! Plus its very patronising in places and rigid with dogma. You can buy better.

I waited a bit before buying this title, but it is a good book and very useful. It would be a good idea for many spell casters to use this as a guide. Thanks

4.0 out of 5 stars spellcaster, 27 Dec 2011

This book was very good. I recommend this book for beginners. Even though it needs to tell more and give info on energies, and how to tap into them.
