I got this product after reading the good reviews, first thing I would state is *** NOW COMES WITH UK PLUG *** I bought the adpater as well but found out it's no longer needed. My only issue I had with these speakers is that the input cable supplied seemed to be either low quality or a bad batch as it let alot of electrical interference through to the speakers (a constant electrical noise played through the speakers similar to when you receive mobile phone interference). I had a spare wire however and received no problems once I used this. Otherwise really impressed with these speakers.

Bought for my daughter's birthday, her little tinny CD player was out of date, as most of her music was on the pc. She got it out of the box and was impressed with the finish; it looks more expensive than the price tag in my opinion. Plugged it in and Boom, her music listening was transformed! I'm no connoisseur or expert of musical equipment, but to me it sounds great in a 12 year olds bedroom, we know when it's getting fired up, from downstairs! The base is strong; although the knob seems touchy little fine adjustment gets the right sound. I was impressed, and had to have a go, and see if I could rattle anything off the shelves! Better look at a review from an expert to see how the system stacks up against the competition, on sound and price, as this is the first 2.1 system I have experienced.

With 33 watts, this thing packs a punch. It was super easy to setup, and comes with clear instructions. Basically, plug in the green 3.5mm jack into an output source (mp3 headphone jack, tv headphone jact etc) and plug in two cables behind the subwoofer, then plug in the smaller speakers in the subwoofer. Please note: - comes with a Euro plug (two sticks instead of 3) so you might need to order an adaptor to go with this. Firstly, wow, these speakers are brilliant, does exactly what the description says. The bass control is amazing, you can set it to full and you wont get a distorting sound, but a clean massive deep bass that sounds perfect and accompanies any sound coming from the smaller speakers, which give it a good balance of treble and bass. Their perfect for quiet listening and, just turn them down and you still get a crystal clear sound and no distortion. These speakers are also very well built. The front is plastic and gives it a shine. The blue led is a nice design touch to. All in all, brilliant speakers. There are now newer versions of this speaker, so check SoundLinks website and compare the model. I believe the new versions incorporate power saving features and slightly different designs.
