I have given this 3 stars for one very simple reason. It wouldn't fit our Sony Bravia TV. The problem is that the plug is 180 degrees out of the required position. In other words the narrow end of the plug is farthest from the cable and the the wider end close to it. On the television HDMI 2&3 are on the left hand edge of the set which means that a normal plug will stick out of the side. In this case an angled plug is ideal, but unfortunately the socket on the TV has the narrow end nearest the front of the TV, and the plug will not go in. I finished up by using HDMI 4 as I could use this with the straight plug, and the angled plug was connected to the DVD player. Even this would not be perfect for everybody. DVD players have become smaller in height and unless you can feed it over the back of a unit the plug will lift the player off the surface. I have no complaints with the quality of the cable but instead of using HDMI 1&2, I have had to use HDMI 1&4. It may be that not everyone has the same problems as me but please consider this carefully before you buy.
