the person who gave this 1 star obviously did not read the description this adapter lets you hook up a standard pc headset while the halo 2 headset is for the original xbox. The product itself is built very well and my headset has not lost any quality ty speed link

I don't usually don't have any criticism for any amazon products but, This adapter seemed fine for the all of 10 seconds it worked... i think i managed to get one sentence out of it then... it literally crumbled in my hands, the back fell off and what my headset plugged into fell out and broke, i tried to put the back on but it wasn't the screws that fell out where the screws went in it had just as i said crumbled away... I'm guessing i got a bad set but hopefully, i will be getting a full refund, Xbox with no headset isn't that fun =(
