Product Description

About the Author

Experiencing himself several strange supernatural experiences gives him the edge over other writer's of children's fantasy and horror. Finding himself torn between good and evil offered greater insight as to how brave, greedy, spiritual and adventurous he could be. These dilemmas his characters will feel through the series of books revolving around the mentor 'Aivis the Burvis'. Humour helped to get through these frightening experiences. So it is little wonder that a large portion of comedic input runs through the tales, helping to lighten the work after the dramatic or dark passages. From birth in South Wales you are brought up on myth and legend. With all these influences and enough caffeine to keep a sloth alert, a strange adventure is to be expected. Ideas spring forth very often on his walks to the Efail Isaf Village Store to stock up on the instant cappuccinos.

I love the cover of this book which tells a story in itself. The author does a good job of painting a picture with words. As an adult I think his observation of human nature and the way he weaves comedy into this is intriguing and entertaining. I think kids will just love it without having to think about the underlying messages. This will make a great stocking filler this Christmas for boys and girls alike. I can thoroughly recommend it
and it'll be going to the kids in my family.
