What is Minoxidil?

I cannot sing the praises of this product enough. I was put on to this by a male friend who was using the product. I am a woman, nearly 50, and my hairline has been receding badly for the last few years to the point of embarrassment.
I was told the DS laboratories product is the best and purest and initially tried the 2.5% one recommended for women. It begun to work very quickly and within a week I could see extremely fine blonde hair coming through. I e-mailed the company and asked if 5% was damaging to women and was told the only reason they recommend 2.5% to women is that the 5% may make some women's skin sensitive.
I moved on to the 5% and the growth was quicker. I took photos of my hairline before and again after using the product for 10 weeks. I then compared the photos and am amazed at the results after such a short time.
If you are losing your hair, BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! Just be careful not to dribble it everywhere or you will end up having to shave your sideburns off!!
In a few months I will be posting the photos on Flikr so look for before and after photos using Minoxidil.

THe product is effective and doesn't irritate the skin, with few odor or spill thanks to the pipette. Delivery is fast although the bottles were opened when they arrived.

First off I live in Denmark and they delivered within a week, so well done there.
For the last 3 years I've been going quite thin on top, getting that T shape where the widows peak meets a bald spot. I started using this product about 2 months back and already I have amazing results. I have to mention that I'm 26, my father is bald, uncles, grandparents everyone in my family is bald, so I somehow figured that I'd have to deal with it one day.
Balding top almost regrown in just 2 months, widows peak almost back to when I was 22 and my smile has never been wider.
Btw. I use Nizoral shampoo 2% 3 times a week while using this. I also have psoriasis on my scalp, so if anyone is afraid to use it because of that - don't be. Just use psoriasis medicine before minoxidil and wait an hour.
Cheap and nice.
4/5 stars because I still have one more of the solutions left and I want to see if this continues.
