They are coated and treated specially to block out air and moisture outside, keeping the expressed milk fresh. The bags can be sealed tightly to prevent any contamination or leakage. The scale on the front of the bags allows you to see how much milk has been expressed. The pre-sterilised bags are double-walled and are freezer safe. Pack of 30.

Hi,
I have used two different brands of disposable bags (spectra and lanosil) and the spectra bags are really disappointing and I have thrown them away. The major problem is that they frequently leak. They have a single sealing strip and even though I have been very carefull they often leak. A minor problem is that the tear off point isn't that far from the sealing strip so it leaves a very small area to grab to underdo and so they are just more difficult to handle. Finally, the bags are not as a attractive. I use a spectra breast pump which is excellent and was expecting comparable quality.

It's kinda okeyish, but I wouldn't recommend this.
The bag looks like it will fit Medela pump, it is in any case comparable capacity, can hold at most 150cc. What I don't like is that you need scissors to cut the sealing, otherwise you risk tearing off the closing strip. Further, the label: you have to write on the piece of plastic that holds milk. Either you risk damaging the bag with a rollerbal pen, or, if you're using a permanent/CD marker, think about how much of that ink will penetrate through the plastic. I ended up writing in the corners.
Instead of this, I highly recommend Lansinoh, bigger volume, perforated tear-off safety-strip, matte roller-ball friendly label area on the neck and not on the body. And of course, double zipper.

I bought these Spectra Milk Storage bags to use with my Spectra Breast Pump and i think they're great!!! I have bought other makes in the past and found that they leaked which is why I decided to give the Spectra ones a try.
They are very easy to use and are really strong....I haven't experienced any leaks or tears!
In fact, they do exactly as it says on the box.
I have breastfed all of my babies and now that i've found these milk storage bags, I won't be using anything else in the future!
They are excellent value for money.....This is ONE VERY HAPPY MUMMY.....I can HIGHLY Recommend them...Give them a go ladies because you won't be disappointed!

Great product
I found these bags easy to use, and had no problems with leakage. Now my little ones are weaning I use them for freezing soups, spreads and pureed food! Great value for money!
