I have raised this with Amazon but they have not altered the description. This product does NOT fit the newer white 13" macbook so don't bother buying it if that's the model you have

Do not waste your money on this if you have a new unibody Macbook. I bought one, thinking it looked great, and it said it would fit Macbook or Macbook Pro. It won't. You'll get the top on no problem, but there is no way that the bottom will fit on an unibody Macbook.

I was very disappointed, as there was nothing in the product name to indicate which version of Macbook this case fits, and I now have to spend more money trying to find a case that will fit my laptop. We even tried sawing various pieces off, in order to get the thing in, but to no avail.

Do not buy these cases, they're no use to an owner of a new Macbook.

Bought this after looking online and getting advice from the Apple pros in the store. Very nicely made and simple to click into place. I had seen a few reviews online saying it was difficult to remove so I tried it right away - took about 10 second to remove top and bottom so no problem there. If you're a purist it will protect from surface damage, or if you're like me it gives you an excuse to put stickers (my business logo, honest!) on your MacBook. It's the only protection I could find that is in place while using the laptop, in case of an accidental drop or slip.
