For anyone with serious intolerances this book is useless. I bought it for yeast free bread recipes, for those who cannot eat yeast it usually follows they cannot eat sugar, these recipes contain honey, so no good for anyone with candida. As almost every recipe in the book contains sugar or honey I have found nothing to add to my sadly very small collection of recipes. For those who are looking for recipes that do not contain yeast, sugar (in its various forms) dairy, eggs and fermented products this book will offer you nothing. For those who are only avoiding wheat it may be of some use. I was bemused at the recipe for scones which had 12 ingredients, just use an ordinary recipe and substitute or leave out those ingredients you cannot eat, it works. The author clearly must have a problem with wheat but her knowledge on other intolerances is highly suspect. If you still want a copy of this book please do not pay the over inflated price for a new one I paid £1.84 for mine second hand in almost new condition, not surprisingly there were many to choose from.
