Have you ever felt so alone in the world that you wanted to run away? Have you ever cried so hard because you felt that no one understood you? Special Comforter is a story about a little boy who felt so alone until his dear Great-Grandmother made him feel like he was the most important person in the world with just a simple hug. This story will give everyone who has ever felt alone hope that there is someone special out there for them.
Recommended for children 5 to 8, but anyone with a heart will love this story.

About the Author:
As a little tike in the town of Belgrade, just outside of Minneapolis, Thomas Rosengren became enthralled with storytelling as he sat cross-legged hanging onto every word by Mrs. Weimerskirch in kindergarten. As time passed he discovered his artistic style in photography and a flair for poetry. His first children's book Special Comforter is his heartfelt tribute to all of the teachers who instilled in him a love and joy for the spoken and written word.
A graduate of Concordia College in Minnesota, he earned a degree in elementary education. With his children's books, poetry and his wonderful collection of photography, Thomas aims to inspire future generations to pursue their dreams and to never give up. Having overcome personal obstacles and challenges himself in life, he is convinced that through faith and believing in yourself, anything is possible.
Rosengren currently keeps his skills alive and flourishing with his own photography business in the city of Belgrade, Minnesota.

In 1988, Michael & Mary Kay gave birth to their daughter Melissa. Little did they know that she would become a maverick in the art world in South Dakota. MelJean, as she is know in the art world, is currently finishing up her degree in Digital Arts and Design before she dives into her Masters Degree in Fine Arts.

When it comes to her artwork, Melissa's creativity is fueled by her emotions. "If I'm angry, I'll throw paint at the canvas. On the other hand, when I'm feeling good, I'll take my time and become a perfectionist." MelJean enjoys painting, singing, and photography in her spare time. She also loves spending time with her friends and family when possible. With family spread far and wide, time spent with them is precious.
