About the Author
Josie Santomauro is a full-time writer living in Brisbane, Australia. Her son, Damian, was diagnosed with AS at the age of five. She has written numerous fiction books for children and young adults, and several books on AS. She regularly gives seminars and talks on AS.

My son is a 9 year old with autism. He has recently been asking "am I different?" and I have been at a loss to help him understand his condition. I bought this book because I thought it may help me to explain. He also has other issues and is struggling to learn to read and write.
This book is great at explaining the condition in a simplistic way but the plain text and lack of illustrations let it down. As I said before, my son is struggling to read so for me to read it to him and help him to focus, illustrations would definately have helped.

This is a good book, it is a start to telling them they are different & have aspergus, this is aimed more for the younger child ! i would say u8.

This book was OK but there are far better available. my daughter liked it and it was for her, but I was not as enamored.
