my daughter is now 7 and has had this for a few years, we too had to assemble it but it does not come apart. The handle comes off but this adds to its play value because it can become a foward facing seat. we have no problems with the child comming out when mum holds it- just change the angle of mums hand.

This toy looks super and my daughter was really pleased to receive it. However it comes in "kit" form and you assemble the pieces yourself - hair on mother, handle on car seat etc. The trouble is that the toys disassemble themselves straight away (the mother's hair hasn't stayed on since it was bought). The car seat is a bit badly designed too. The mother cannot hold it with the baby in the seat as it tips out, and there is no way of changing the angle it is held at.

When traveling in the playmobil vehicles a baby needs a carseat. Safety is a must! This mother is one of the more detailed people playmobil makes. Most dolls wear very simple clothes but she is dressed in a colorful shirt. My child really likes this set. You can't go wrong with playmobil!

My [...] year old loves all playmobil, but the fact that there is a baby in this set made it even better for her dollhouse. She loved it, and for the price, it was a great buy!
