Nice looking and feels solid enough. Second time I used it it broke. The trowel broke at the joint between the handle and the trowel blade. Obviously the joint was not strong enough. Would not recommend to anyone.

Spear & Jackson have for many years been selling top class garden tools. This excellent stainless steel trowel (at an excellent price, post free, carefully packaged) easily maintains their high reputation. My advice: don't just buy one, buy two: his and hers.

I bought this for my father in law and he loves it! The handle has a lovely easy shape to hold and because it is quality you don't get any nasty splinters in the palmn of you hand when you'r weeding and digging! I have an identical one at home.
