Had for about a year works well, good quality dosn't rust like some so called stainless, leather tie fell off but other than that still looks as good as new recommend to any keen gardener.

Spear & Jackson's good reputation is maintained by this quality tool. Well made, comfortable handle, good reach. The loop is useful to hang the tool visibly in the garden shed! It is not possible at this early stage to comment on its durability, but first appearances indicate that it will be a tool in our garden for many years to come. My only criticism is not with the tool but with Amazon's packaging. I ordered this hand fork and the companion trowel at the same time - they arrived in separate large boxes with far more packaging than was necessary.
