Taking influence from 80s New Wave and alternative acts - such as The Police, The Jam and Elvis Costello amongst others - this is a a melodic and charming record. A glossy sheen is added to proceedings with the inclusion of celebrity pal and supermodel Agyness Deyn on the single 'Who', while the whole album maintains a similar pop sensibility.

Much of me acquiring this album was based on a live performance of 'Who' which blew me away. The melodies on the album were not expected to top that of Who or even equal it, however i was nicely surprised as an enjoyable and uplifting piece of music rolls out track after track. I find the lead singers voice to be very listenable and although it doesn't tend to differ from every other indie group voice, the sound and the harmonies that end up coming out of the mans voice are very individual, this i found very refreshing.

I definitely recommend this album, great one to chill to and this is the first album i have ever reviewed, but i just thought it deserved some praise (it takes a lot for me to do anything).

Enjoy it, this group has much potential!
