Still going strong... 30 Sep 2001
By A Customer
Greg Capullo joins Grant Morrison for this installment of the Spawn series, but there is certainly no let up of quality. Capullo's art meshes well with the tone of the book, leaving the reader with no complaints that Todd is no longer handling the duties. The plot progresses nicely with welcomely slow pacing as Spawn is challenged by the anti-spawn, and finds himself torn watching over Wanda, as Morrison serves up another typically powerful story. Probably not the best place to join the Spawn series if you're a newcomer, but if you're a fan of the first trades, then this addition maintains quality without altering anything too radically.
