My daughter loves the Sparkle Street stories and we have the whole set. This one sees the girls visiting the pet shop and I personally think this one is a bit haphazard and repetitive with the action (if you can call missing a couple of mice 'action') a bit bland. It has long winded sentences repeating what another character has just said. Having said that my daughter seems to like it but if you are only going to buy one Sparkle Street book then I would suggest the Barnaby's Cake Shop or Rosa Blooms Flower Shop instead. Also beware of different covers and titles for what is essentially the same Sparkle Street story so you don't double up.
