The film was only recently out in the UK and I am so glad I went to see the film. I do think it is quite ridiculous to fully judge a Soundtrack without seeing the movie.

The CD has a distinct Motown feel, and is a welcome refresher from today's chart fodder. In that respect for any fans of Motown and of music it is worthwhile purchase.

Spark's finale in the film and centrepiece of this album "One Wing", is nothing short of show-stopping. Particularly if you have seen the movie. It really is an exhibition in vocal ability and vocal acrobatics.

For fans of Whitney Houston, this contains her last solo recording which I can emphatically state is of comparable vocal quality to the I Look to You album. The reviewer below stating otherwise clearly does not have functioning ears. Houston sings a gospel number and though the tone of her voice changed and diminished from what once was, we still hear flashes of the old-Whitney. What she now lacks in range she makes up for in gospel fervour and emotion. There is nothing "sad" about this final recording except that it was her last, it shows she had much more to give. Whitney's duet with Sparks is less vocally impressive but a catchy and upbeat song, a nice way to remember Whitney or any loved one on a low and grey day.

Enjoyed the movie and wanted the tracks as keepsake. I was blown away with Jordan Sparks two tracks, and loved the old revival tune of Envogue. I would recommend this CD to true music listeners.

It's sad but inevitable to have this cd: her 2 last songs, I think that CELEBRATE was recorded a few days before the horrible day.

It certainly does sparkle, I love the album. My daughter and I saw the film and loved the music so immediately bought the album.

Brought this dvd for a friend who is a big Whitney fan, probably not the greatest film in the world but we'll worth one viewing.
