Many people will know that they can access all the Spark Notes from their website and read them off there. Though subject to some light advertising it is the same stuff so why buy the book? To be honest, for a three pounds I am very happy I bought this book. It's easy to carry to school and I can use it as a reference whenever I like. Though the notes won't help you write an A level essay, they will help you gain a basic grasp of the text. Going into a bit of depth thematically and addressing the subtle issues in the text is helpful as you don't have to look for them your selves. Most of them are relatively obvious but these books put them in a nice organised way. Hence, I do feel it is worth buying these books if you are going to be studying the text to a decent level.
