Just when I didn't believe this second book in the Alcolar Family series could live up to the first, I was proven wrong. Kate Walker is an unbelievable story teller. She weaves such interest in the storyline and in her characters. They come to life. This is Ramon's and Estella's story, one you will not want to put down, I know I didn't. Once I began to read this wonderful love story, I couldn't stop.

Ramon is a sexy, strong and sensitive character, one who believes he is not capable of falling in love or the happy everafter, not until he meets the beautiful Estella. Estella who is being sold off to the highest bidder to save the family reputation. Estella, warm, soft, sexy and very sensitive. When the two are put together, sparks begin to form and fly.

I also encourage you to read "The Twelve-Month Mistress", the first in the series. Get to know the Alcolar's, you won't be sorry!!!!!

Book Summary:

The convenient solution is to marry her!

Ramón Dario desperately wants the Medrano company. But the deal has a shocking condition - marriage to the notorious Estrella Medrano! Ramón won't be forced into anything, least of all into wedding a scarlet woman!

But Estrella is not what he imagined. Ramón can't get her gorgeous body out of his mind. He even starts to believe she may not deserve her reputation! A marriage of convenience - and desire - might be a good deal after all...

One of her best! 31 Dec 2004
By Kitty
Format:Paperback
I think
this is definitely one of Kate Walker's best - tons of emotion, the pace is cracking,
and I really, really loved the characters. I already knew I'd like Ramón, as
I'd read the first in the trilogy, and Estrella was an excellent heroine:
strong, feisty. The wedding scene (not saying too much here as don't want to
spoil it) is worth its weight in gold

I admired her courage, her fire, her spunk, if you don't believe me, wait until you read about her walk down the aisle.
