I would like to highly recommend all the 'Monster Makers' books. My son has devoured them and is regularly caught rereading them by torchlight after lights out. It is great to find a series of books that encompass most little boys dreams - who would not like to be able to design and bring to life their own monsters. Brilliant concept and written in such a manner that they are easy for a child to read and understand but also great to read aloud.
