Three gorgeous female aliens accidentally crash land their spaceship on earth, then try to hide their presence by kidnapping 3 men and a woman whom witnessed the crash, planning to hold them until they can make repairs and leave. But of course this being a comedy/borderline soft core porn the aliens come from a world where there are no men and find themselves totally fascinated by the strange anatomy of their male guests, whom are none too reluctant to demonstrate to them what its all about.The cast is likable, in particular Tony Maiden who's funny as the nerd suddenly turned space stud, and Bob Saget whom does the voice of a drugged out jukebox/advice machine, who's only words of advice are more drugs. The female cast is quite attractive and manage to play out their roles with straight faces, with cute but aggressive Kate Ferguson looking like her character should be a member of a British punk rock band. --www.imdb.com

As a fan of 70's sex comedies, I bought this on the Amazon recommended list. After one of the previous recommendations I was a bit sceptical, however gave them a try last night.
Spaced Out: This is a typical 70's sex comedy, with more emphasis on the sex than comedy, however certainly isn't the worst movie I have seen. With some attempts at special effects as well, this was not a bad movie (of this genre)
Sex Clinic: This movie was a big suprise to me. At the start it started off like many films of the genre with totally gratutious nudity and an obvious plot. However after the first 10 minutes, this actually develops into a good film with a pretty decent plot. In conjunction with that, with a double twist at the end and some actually quite strong acting performances make this a really welcome surprise of a film.

This double bill contains two films which were rarely seen even when they were released. Spaced Out is a sex comedy which looks rather dated now with its stereotype characters and sexual innuendos. Three female aliens land on Earth and take four people prisoner. The whole set-up looks cheap and the script was probably written as they went along. Look on it as the poor relation of the Confessions films. There is enjoyment to be had as you see the cheesiness of the thing.
Sex Clinic is a completely different kettle of fish. This is a surprisingly competent sex drama/thriller written by Crossroads' Hazel Adair, which is about the owner of a health clinic who has a sideline in blackmailing her clients. When the opportunity of expanding the business arises, the scene is set for an unexpected outcome. The film looks very stagy with minimal exterior shots, very much like a TV drama but this adds to the tension. The acting is first rate and there is nudity aplenty but this film is a gem which deserves viewing.

Two of the better fare from the that stable of films like "confessions of....". Sex clinic rises above the usual in this arena with a great story. Worth a watch
