Even though this single tends to be full price and has only one rare Lemon Jelly track on it ('Pushy'), it's probably the most treasured single I've ever owned. I was loathe to spend a few quid for one song, but that feeling was dispelled when it arrived...

Firstly, it has to be the most gorgeous looking single ever, and that's saying a LOT for a Lemon Jelly single. The CD and packaging have a unity of design that makes it wonderful to hold, as I can only imagine the impossibly-rare 'Soft/Rock' vinyl in denim to be.

And then there's 'Pushy', the 7 minute rare track which samples an interview with a shy little girl who doesn't fit in because she's so quiet and not very... well, pushy. I don't think I've ever heard a song so achingly beautiful or disarmingly heartfelt as this one, and I'm usually fighting back tears every time I hear it. It could have easily fit on the KY album: it's as sweetly emotional as 'His Majesty King Raam' and as funkily nostalgic as 'The Staunton Lick'.

This is my favourite among the highly-treasured Lemon Jelly singles. If you loved the albums and wondered about the singles, please do start with this one... it's a beaut.

Heard this track at the start of September on John Peels show. If you liked the tracks on the KY album this is another instant classic. If you've never heard of Lemon Jelly they offer an interesting blend of jazz, laid back almost trance, and pure genius. You will have heard many of their songs as backing music in tv ads - like the Witch Doctor ad on tv. Softer than some of their other tracks such as Kneel before your God and Homage to Patagonia, this will doubtless also be ruined for single sales by overplaying as the backing music to several terrible ads, but I still think it's a brilliant track

There is no-one quite like Lemon Jelly, and on this 3 track cd, they create their usual trademark blend of almost undescribable brilliance. Spacewalk is ace, but the real highlight is Pushy. It's the kind of song that needs to be heard to be appreciated. Lemon Jelly are almost impossible not to like, despite whatever else you are into. Sublime and well worth checking out.

I have to say that this is one amazing CD! I have heard 'Spacewalk' and 'Return to Patagonia' on it before, but they are great cuts of the versions on the album, 'Lost Horizon'. The second track, 'Pushy' is amazing too. It's similar to 'Ramblin' Man' from the album, as it starts low, then breaks in to a head nodding beat, before adding a little story over the top!

The packaging is amazing too! It gives it an authentic look and feel, as well as making it unique amongst your CD racks. You'll see once you buy it...

HASH(0x8dcbd9b4) out of 5 stars Complex Simplicity 1 Nov. 2002

I believe Lemon Jelly to be the only band I currently know of who make music as easy to listen to as Westlife and as complex as Aphex Twin. This is pure flowing pleasure for your ears and stuff certain to put a smile on your face. These guys could do a soundtrack, harden their music, whatever - just started and already brilliant!

HASH(0x8c288a50) out of 5 stars Good single but 66% of it on the album 12 Aug. 2010

The radio edit of space walk really takes not much away fro m the original, just cut back a bit of the filler and long parts of the original.

Pushy is an ok bside with a spoken word question and answer session between and older man and a kid about being pushy to get your way. A bit long at 7 min.

Finally you get the album version of return to patagonia, nothing new here from lost horizons.

Not the greatest single but every track blends into the background much like most lemon jelly songs.
HASH(0x8c29bb70) out of 5 stars Lemon Jelly - Space Walk 25 Feb. 2011
By scoundrel - Published on Amazon.com

SPACE WALK, of the better tracks of Lemon Jelly's album LOST HORIZONS, gets the single treatment here. While there aren't any remixes to keep the DJs occupied, "Pushy" will definitely convince them to sit down and relax for a bit. The conversation that's sampled is kind of sad, which gives the song an overall wistfulness. The song goes on for maybe a minute longer than it should (a bad Lemon Jelly habit). "Return to Patagonia," which also appears on the album, is buoyed by its quick breaks and mellow feel.
