Synopsis

In the 25 years that America has been flying Space Shuttles, they have done more to further mankind's space effort than anyone could have predicted. The accomplishments and discoveries of the Space Shuttles are colourfully presented in this 'Pocket Space Guide', which chronicles the events and machines that have made humans at home in the Earth's orbit.

Space Shuttle Missions and Facts 7 Jan 2008
By G. Kennedy - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
A huge proportion of this book has colour pages of all mission badges. Of the space shuttle itself, not a huge amount - but there's enough for you to realise that the space shuttle is really a mobile space station rather than a spaceship.

How many tiles does the heat shield has?? 19 May 2008
By Amazon Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
It's a pretty neat little book about the shuttle, although it lack's certain data that would have make it a 5 star rewiew, like the number of tiles on the heat shield and of what material is made of, but other than that I highly recomend it as your first aproach to this magnificent vehicle.
