Unbelieveable 1 Nov 2001
By A Customer
Format:DVD
A good film should keep you rooted in your seat from start to finnish, during this movie however I made three cups of coffee, got myself a snack and checked my E-mails without bothering to pause it. The first few minutes were ok, but after that the film was just boring. There was no suspence or drama, the dialogue seemed tacky, the Russians were stereotypical, the space station sets weren't believeable and the story wasn't well told. If you don't mind any of this then this is the film for you.

This film is amazing! I think "they cannot be for real!". It is probably the worst film I have ever seen. It has the acting quality of a porn film but without the sex (porn films are not noted for their acting finesse, but then they're not really supposed to since the sex makes up for the poor quality acting in most). I have to say that "Space Fury" is so bad that it is actually worth watching for a laugh (hence the three stars).

This could and should have been a good film, but after a decent start it quickly gets very silly. The interplay between the characters is purile and the fight scene is like handbags at 40 paces. Once you know who the villain is and you get to learn this very early on then you might as well switch off since you've seen the best part of the film. There's a totally ludicrous and pointless episode near the end when the heroine drags an unconscious colleague off the shuttle back onto the space station, and then drags him back onto the shuttle since that's the only way to escape. A movie where you'll feel someone missed a trick!
