My 8 year old wanted this for Christmas, thankfully I didn't buy it when it was full priced, I paid the reduced price on Amazon (best price I could find). The Spa 'fountain' is very dissapointing and the face packs are basically just oats that you can buy from the supermarket, although my daughter had fun making the face pack from the oats a banana and some honey from our cupboards she absolutley hated the feeling of it on her face!
Since Christmas day she's had the fountain on once but has used the oils/fragrances to supplement her Perfume Laboratory set which she really loves.
Even at the offer price this was not value for money, you can achieve far more by looking for face pack recipes on the internet.

My daughter bought this for herself & loves it - she spends ages making up different perfumes & finds it easy to use so all in all a great little addition for any young girl.

I gave the spa factory to my 9 year old niece for Christmas and she absolutely loved it. She spent hours playing with it after she opened it. One thing you might have to watch out for is spillages - the scents can be quite strong and after a while literally gets up your nose. But kept two "tweenagers" happy and thats the main thing!
